OK, I have clicked on so many article links (that people are either passively or actively sharing with me) that make me jump through the request to subscribe to Facebook’s social reading platform — that it’s making me hate Facebook. This is not social. It’s like being at a party with a cash bar — it’s just not as much fun as an open bar. If Facebook keeps on trying to wall-in the web, it will slowly fail.

It’s mainly old school media like Washington Post using the FB graph to drive traffic…I don’t see how it’s a good thing in the long run…CNN does it through a direct partnership with FB, which is terrible…
